Finally, a day I can pig out till the sun rises up to my pi gu! ^^
It has been a rather fulfilling week, because I've officially started work at People's Association as a Community Development Executive, being posted to Bishan North CC (Toa Payoh- Bishan GRC). A small void deck CC it may be, I was totally deceived by it... There is actually a whole pile of work to be done, to think I had the idea I'd have a good life being posted to such a tiny CC, haha! how wrong of me...
I'm lucky to have met nice people in PA so far... My first friend in PA, Wei Lun... we spent half a day trekking around Redhill, spotting condoms on the road, just to find the Cisco building to get our security pass done, LOL! Wei Lun!!! pls pls pls pls pls request to attend the same induction as me, else I'd be so bored without a friend.... lol... My colleagues in PA are wonderful as well :) There's James who welcomed me with a present for first meeting, Andy Koh and Andy Ng who were very helpful and patient, teaching me the ropes to the operations of the CC, Jonathan and Sherlynn who are ALWAYS there go crap with me when work gets boring, Kamisah who happens to be my neighbour, fetching me to work if we're on the same shift, and Mr Tan who's so quiet but smiles every time I call him Uncle Tan, LOL! With such nice colleagues, what more can I ask for right? haha....
Not that I'm complaining, but as my parents said, work is never easy... having to work on 4 afternoon shifts straight a week, ending work at 10.30pm is no joke, super no life =/ I'd be so tired when I get home I just head to sleep after reading the newspaper, and then when I wake up, it's time to head back to work in only a few hours time... oh well, I shall just hang in there, after all, this is good experience hard to come by :)
Hoping for the uni letter to come soon, so that my "experience" can come to a closure, HAHAH! =X
