What's the best thing in life? To me, to have this special group of friends who will always be there to stand by me, be it good times or bad, are the best things which dawned on me :) Had been spending the past few days with them, namely to celebrate TK's 20th birthday, our full day trekking trip at the Zoo and Night Safari, and our supper date at ECP... TK's birthday celebration part one was done at Vivocity where we had a simple dinner followed by lots of chilling and photo taking at the open space at the roof garden...
the few of us headed to the Zoo and Night Safari on TK's actual birthday, and it was the day I had the most fun in a long time :) yes, it was tiring to be trekking 2 parks in one day, but time seemed to pass in the blink of an eye with them around. oh! did I mention the 5 of us actually went to the Kid's World at the Zoo to splash some water with mostly kids below 10 year old at the water park?! hahha! It was initially quite awkward as most parents were looking at us, but we just went ahead and had our fun, aiming the water guns at each other and kids passing by, haha! LEGEND~ it was also a trip with multiple eye candies and cute commentator ^^ why on earth did I quit my job at Wildlife Reserves =/ haha!
I strongly recommend people who haven't visited the 2 parks in a long time to give it a go, a lot has changed and the shows are actually rather good and entertaining now :)
Kelvin has finally decided to drive us out since he got his driving license! We drove over to ECP for supper at Carl's Junior and walked around the beach after the meal:) had lots of fun that day as well, cracking up jokes, singing and dancing in the car to pop Korean hits, non-stop laughter, haha!
I was kinda reminded of those days where Weili or Zhi Hong would drive us out for supper and fun over the past vacation we had, it was so much fun and I really missed those days... prawning sessions, supper at Geylang, eating tau huay at ECP on a Valentines Day, and the list goes on... ALAN TAY! are you reading this?! haha..
true friends are hard to come by, hold on to them tightly, and learn to treasure the precious bond :)
