Hi folks! I'm back from my vacation, feeling all refreshed and energised from that 5 days of relaxation, fun, makan therapy and retail therapy^^
I remember visiting Hong Kong about 2 years back with Yvonne... 2 years later, I'm back at the country with my beloved family :) this time, it was definitely more fulfilling, enriching and more quality time spent within the short time frame of 5 days... I guess its because this time around, I had better literacy of their language(Cantonese) and did more research and planning before hand, the hard work before the trip indeed pays off well :)
We manage to visit most of the hot spots in Hong Kong.. Just a few to list, we've covered places like Lantau Island, Victoria Peak, night markets, the clock tower, Avenue of Stars(Xing Guang Da Dao), Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Macau... Although going on a free and easy trip can get rather taxing with all that map reading, travelling and walking around(my mum complained, saying it felt more like army training than holiday, HAHA!), it was definitely a good experience, and we had more freedom and time, not having to rush to meet time set by the tour guide... going at a slower pace, we managed to better absorb the surrounding, capturing the beautiful moments spent there:)
oh well, we took tons of pictures during the trip, however, I shall just upload randomly because I do not have the time to wait for blogger to finish uploading the whole album, enjoy the pictures people!!
the nice view of the city sky scrappers from the Old Clock Tower at Tsim Sha Tsui

the magnificent view of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak!
on the way up to Victoria Peak in the Tram, if you realise from the picture, those people at the back are at a lower angle, because the tram was going up a steep slope, it was practically at 45 degrees angle!!
the Christmas season is here, we can feel it even in HK
