that little rascal is getting more active than ever as she grows up.. haha! I had never knew that looking after a one year old kid for barely half an hour could be so taxing... GOSH, i was seriously drainedddddd.. lol... but it was worth the energy :) like what one of my friend told me, little kids do have the inert talent of making people happy, and I do agree with him on that :)
probably it's partly because I do love children, A LOT, therefore I really enjoy being in the company of this little imp every Sunday at uncle's house... from a little baby who drooled all over my shoulder whenever I carried her, to a bubbly little girl who enjoys walking all around the house, refused to be carried by the adults, exploring new things every week :) the first time she called me "jie jie" after she started learning to talk, I was completely overwhelmed by this magical feeling I can't describe... Today, she can tell me her favourite princess is snow white and is starting to recite numbers... She's a clever little girl with high learning abilities, it indeed demonstrates the quote I shared earlier on in my blog, that kids learn far more and quickly than adults because they have an open mind :)
Although I've stopped working on Sundays and I have lesser money to spend on luxuries now, it's definitely worth that scrimping on my shopping because the joy I get from Glenda whenever I'm around her is far more rewarding compared to cash :)
little Glenda playing mahjong!!! =X
with this little angel, I begin learning to enjoy those simple things in life with can make you happy. & i do really adore kids :)
