Primary school education feels so remote from me right now, however, I'll never forget how I look like dressed in the C.H.I.J St Nicholas Girls' School Pinafore. Although everyone is busy, taking very different paths in each of our lives, the friendship we forged many years back is still deeply etched in my heart. Some friends drifted, some no longer keep in contact, some can't even recognize each other now, but there are also some who just won't change no matter how great the distances it is between us :)
There was a primary school gathering this afternoon, but only a few of us turned up. It was quite disappointing initially when I knew the attendance, but I did not regret turning up for the gathering because I had real solid catching up with Elaine, Jolene and Chai Yue :) and today really made me wonder about something- will things be the same with the group of close friends I have now? Poly friends, Secondary school friends, Badminton friends... Will I have the luxury of sitting down in a cafe with them, say 6-7 years from now, catching up and filling each other in about our current lives? I am really glad that it really did happen with my small group of primary school sisters... haha.. I really wonder... but time will tell ^^
