Had a "trial run" dinner at Ri Ben Cun yesterday with Alan, Peisi, and Hwemiang after my FYP meeting... We ate quite a lot, but i suppose Alan ate the most because he was busy clearing away my rice as I only ate the fillings of the sushi.. haha!^^ We were busy chatting and eating that we didn't realise we were sitting there for more than 3 hours!! we reached at around 6plus and left at almost 10... WOW, I sure can talk a lot with these guys around.. hehe =P Second round of sushi invasion will officially be on the 23rd of this month with more soldiers on our side! :)
After our dinner and leaving our separate ways, I went over to AMK central to meet some teachers and interns for KARAOKE. and gosh, the moment I went in and looked at the play list, it was all English songs! Phua and myself were like giving that "WTH" expression.. haha! We personally do not really enjoy picking out English songs to sing at karaoke because the MTVs are so not pleasing to the eyes-.- Therefore, Phua and I started on our quest to select more Chinese songs and pushing them up the list, so that we can save our eyes from the misery of looking at some 30 yr old ladies running about on the beach clad in skimpy bikinis with a scarf over their heads.. LOL! alright, I shall end my stereotyping here, but seriously, that's the case for the MTVs of most English songs! check it out yourself if you don't believe me.. hahaha..
I was back at YCKSS for badminton with the teachers this afternoon as it was E-learning for the secondary school kids, hence the teachers were very free.. haha! Gerald complains that I don't give him face and he insisted that I "put water" when I play with him... Pei Lin claims that I'm a big bully... and Phua was my target board for the day.. haha! but that's not the case la.. I guess it just them losing touch because they've not been exercising much.. lol =X but we had fun though, good partnership with Jimmy playing doubles :) At least there was more rapport compared to partnering Phua! hahaha.... more working out sessions with them to come in future :)
