Both events which i mentioned in the previous post went well=) the kids from sunlove are adorable i mus sae.. espcially the kids from my grp! Islah, Cheng Kiat, Ahzam and Zul... a group of SLC and rotaractors went to marsiling early in the morning to gather the kids... we were evantually split into our groups and i was attached to a group of 4 wonderful kids together with peisi and hm... at first the were rather cold towards us and even a bit rebellious, i admit i was a little put off by their behaviour in the beginning... i decided that this shouldnt be the attitude since we were gonna spend the whole afternoon together... decided to try and COMMUNICATE with them when we got onto the bus... sarted talking to one of them and he slowly opened up to me... the 3 other kids heard our laughter and decided to join in my conversation with them.. haha!! managed to make frens with them and when you get to noe them.. you'll relise that they're pretty nice kids... one of them even gave me his packet of chocolate b4 we left.. =) and despite their age, they're actually very apprciative of things... all of them actually thanked us when we bought drinks for them.. i guess the part which we all realli enjoyed was when we brought them to the water park... could really sense that they were enjoying themselves... =) when Islah pulled me to a side and told me he'd miss me b4 we left... i was so glad i couldn't stop smiling=)
went home to take a short nap after the sunlove event and headed to yvonne's hse for dinner b4 going to padang for the nx event.. standard chartered marathon! we reached there pretty early and slacked at the pavalion while waiting for the rest to gather... rotted there for abt 20mins b4 going in to register and get our energy pack and shirt.. we girls spent almost 15mins looking for one pathetic toilet-.- cause the field was veri big and dark at tt time we couldnt realli c well. haha! rested at the holding area and waited for our turn to board the bus which will take us to our drink station at east coast park... upon reaching... we has to set up tables and arrange everyhing into order.. we gt prepared quite early and slacked again as usual... we gathered ard and started our ghost story session again.. LOL... it was soon dawn and we managed to c the beautiful sunrise=) race started at abt 6.30am and the elite runners were seriously veri gd... they ran like cheetahs.. haha! but a pity the first 2 leading runners gave up at the 30km mark.. god knows y=/ whole event ended earlier than expected and i manged to go home early go catch some SLEEP!! lol.. tts all for nw.. shall uplaoded fotos soon... the blog is getting a bit boring without pics but all talk.. lol
